Kate Fenton is an award winning producer, actor, writer, and director passionate about storytelling and uplifting female voices.
As a producer, Kate is determined to keep pushing the needle for Women in leadership roles in the entertainment industry.
Kate has successfully secured funding, created sales materials, and overseen production on various projects. Among her most notable, her ACTRA nominated and CSA award-winning original digital series Band Ladies on Highball.TV, a short film Rainbow Baby, Winner of the Toronto ACTRA Women’s Committee (TAWC) film Lab premiering on CBC Canadian Reflections January 2024 Kate has Line Produced and Production Managed several independent feature films and television series for Vortex, Cream Productions, Hawkeye Pictures, Barn 12 and Hero Entertainment.
Kate is the Current Production Executive at Vortex Productions.
